To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that all of us here at Parkview Elementary School highly recommend The Madison Brass (Brass Quintet) as a school assembly! Their program is both educational and entertaining. This group of five professionals came to our school on Thursday, February 25, 1999 and put on two separate shows: One for grades kindergarten through third grade and another for grades forth through sixth. Each 50-minute program was grade-level appropriate and captivating from start to finish. Between programs, each member of the quintet visited the students and their classroom teachers. What a fabulous Day! I very much encourage anyone/everyone to invite The Madison Brass to their school. If I can be of any further assistance to you in any way, please feel free to contact me at any time: (708) 755-0020. Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Blair S. Nuccio, ED.D. Principal - Parkview Elementary - Steger, IL

Dear Mr. La Clair,
Please let us extend a very heartfelt "Thank-You" to you and The Madison Brass for the excellent presentation given to Bose Elementary. The students were so engaged and enthusiastic during the concert! Throughout the remainder of the week, Mrs. Giampietro and I heard a plethora of positive comments made by both the faculty and students. How lucky our school was to be the recipients of such a quality performance!! Enclosed please find a copy of the Kenosha News coverage of the concert. Quite nice!
Best wishes!
Paula Heide-Waller - music specialist & Teri Giampietro - Principal - Bose Elementary

Dear Sandy,
Congratulations on a fine performance at Randall School as part of our Children's Fine Art Series. Your selection of music, quality of performance and rapport with the audience were all terrific! Though I have attended your performances for older audiences, this was the first time I had seen you with an audience with young children. The versatility of your quintet is a real plus and it is another indication of the high level of musicianship and dedication which exists within the ensemble. Thanks very much for continuing to bring fine music to our schools and community.
Sincerely,
Michael George, Fine Arts Coordinator - Madison Metropolitan School District - now President of the Wisconsin School Music Association

Dear Mr. La Clair and members of The Madison Brass,
Thank you so much for coming to Lakeview to share the joy of music, especially the joy of listening to music played on brass instruments. We appreciated the way in which you and your quintet involved the student audience clapping, marching, singing and of course, listening. With out the children realizing it, you incorporated both Phy Ed - movement - and Science - explaining and demonstrating how sound is made and travels in a brass instrument! The mini-sessions you held in each classroom allowed the children to learn more about your instruments and music in a small setting where they were encouraged to ask questions. We hope you and The Madison Brass will consider returning to Lakeview another time to help our students experience the joy of music again.
Sincerely,
Margaret Purser, Music Specialist and Maggie Lewis, Learning Facilitator, Lakeview School

Dear Sandy and members of The Madison Brass,
Thanks ever so much for performing with the Lake Shore Wind Symphony of Milwaukee for the 60th Annual Convention Concert of the Wisconsin Bandmasters Association. Your wonderful performance contributed greatly to the success of this event. You were very well received by the audience and I've gotten many positive comments from the Bandmasters as well as from our musicians. The music you selected for the second half of the concert was excellent. The Harlem Nocturne especially was a gas! The Tangents and the American Fanfare on the first half were also outstanding! Congratulations again on a fine performance! I hope we can work together again in the near future.
Sincerely,
Robert V. Awe - Conductor - The Lake Shore Wind Symphony of Milwaukee

Hi Guys,
I want to "thank you" for the outstanding performance you gave at Wheatland Center School on Wednesday. Students, staff and administration were clapping their hands and stomping their feet to the great music you played. It is a rare occasoin to see K through 8th grade students so attentive and having such a great time! Sorry I missed the small group sessions you had with the students following the performance. I heard from everyone they too were outstanding and motivating. I am enclosing the front page of the Kenosha News with your picture. Thanks again for a great program from everyone here at Wheatland Center School.
Sincerely,
William Roeder - District Administrator
