The Splendor of Brass
Concert Program (K-8)
We offer a unique two part package. First a quick paced, high-energy concert that is as educational as it is entertaining! Only sparkling arrangements of works by some of the World's best composers from the Baroque to the present are used. There will be lots of fun and many familiar pieces that children everywhere can relate to. Audience participation will be encouraged throughout the program. With our younger students we even feature a sing-along and a parade!

Our concerts last about 50 minutes and are fine-tuned for each performance. We tailor our programs for the age of the students, size of the audience and any special emphasis the school or music teacher might want. "The Splendor of Brass" will make a wonderful motivational tool for classroom teachers as well. We have received lots of art work, poems and essays. Our programs not only aid music appreciation but will also stimulate students to want to learn to play an instrument. What a great recruiting tool for your middle school band program! Follow the Mini-Sessions button below to learn about the exciting and unique second half of this program.
Concert Program (8-12)
These programs are packed with an over view of music from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods then into American music starting with the Civil War then on into early Jazz forms such as Blues, Ragtime and Dixieland. We also perform music of the Big Bands, Hollywood & Broadway. Our books also contain transcriptions of symphonic works and compositions written specially for brass quintet. As each audience is different so are our programs for this age group. Sometimes we perform just for the music students however most of the time our concert is for the whole school. We work closely with music teachers and administrators to develop a program that is as entertaining as it is interesting and educational. We often program works that the students are performing in band or orchestra.
